Blastor

I woke up the morning after a big night out, and i had this little squeaky voice who kept saying ‘this is blastor’ in my head, and making squelchy bass noises. The words and bassline were already there, all i did was add the rest.

Thus Blastor was born.

There is much hidden depth lurking below the surface simplicity of this heartfelt video. The artist had this to say:
“I drew the characters when I broke my arm in Dec… and was sufficiently unhappy with my artistic talent to make a wank f*ck tepid little video. With regard to the context, I think I imagined the pengun guy to have attacked the badger thing in some kind of drunken brawl, resulting in a battered complexion and a bruised ego. However, badger guy gets his own back by shooting penguin in the chest with a Glock. It’s the wrong side of the chest however (he’s got pretty poor eyesight being a nocturnal creature an’ all…). Skip forward post panic, the ensuing ambulance drive home and a hearty KFC, and it becomes painfully clear to them that such a feud has gotten completely out of hand. They make up their differences by studying each other’s feet then having an illegal rave in a forest. Unfortunately, a nuclear device is launched towards Thetford, and they die in each others arms (well, feet and flappy flightless penguin skin).”
